Most services on Peak Rail are hauled by industrial saddle tank WD150 Royal Pioneer, a locomotive built to the LNER J94 design (however this particular example did not see LNER/BR service). It is seen here departing Rowsley on 10th August 2008 with the 16:00 service to Matlock. The boiler ticket on this locomotive expires later in 2012 and it faces an uncertain future. (Mark Burrows)
