East Lancashire Railway Diesel Group

The Bury Diesel Group is the organisation incorporating all the diesel locomotive and DMU owners, owning groups and other volunteers resident at the East Lancashire Railway.

Deltic 9000

Supporting Group for Deltic 55022 owned by Martin Walker, aiming to ensure that 55022 is preserved in running order with mainline certification.  Also supports 55016.

Class 40 Preservation Society

Owning group for 40135 and 40145 based at the East Lancashire Railway.

A1A Locomotives

A1A Locomotives is the premier Class 31 preservation company with 31162, 31108 and 31271 operational as well as historical survivor 31418 (D5521) under long term restoration. 

Western Locomotive Association

Owners of Class 52s D1013 and D1062 at the Severn Valley Railway.

Diesel Traction Group

Owners of the only mainline certified ex-BR diesel-hydraulic locomotive no D1015 Western Champion as well as one of only two surviving Class 42 Warship locomotives, no D821 Greyhound.

Railcar Association

Association formed of several owning groups for preserved first generation DMUs and who promote an annual DMU Day at a preserved line.
