Final preparations are made, and the load checked prior to leaving. As can be seen the load also included a number of MK3 cylinder heads, cylinder liners, buffers, air tanks, etc. Given the time of departure and traffic, the lorry laid over at Scotts yard and delivered the items to Rowsley on the morning of the 19th June, where the majority of the spares were offloaded. This left two of the motor blowers and two exhausters to be forwarded to Bowers for overhaul.
