D9016 Gordon Highlander is seen departing Rowsley for the last time with the 16.20 service to Matlock. The choice of location was partly due to the photographer being one of the RRRG members that was manning the sales stand on this understandably busy weekend. By this time the event's timetable had gone completely out of the window with Peak Rail being extremely accommodating towards enthusiasts seeking to take photographs, however to their great credit Peak Rail completed the advertised number of round trips.
