Carl and Sofy Looker, Jay Hirst, Dave Rolfe and I on were site on Sunday 15th April, while Mark and Robert Burrows had the sales stand on the station at Rowlsey South for the Peak Rail/Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Twin Peaks diesel gala. Jay and I were mostly showing people round Repulse, while Carl & Sofy did cleaning up of debris under the floor in the Thin Man's passage, and getting loose paint and corrosion off the last section of cable trunking behind where the exhauster sits under the brake frame. They then primed the cleaned that section of floor and trunking. Towards the end of the day, Jay and I carried on investigating why we can't get continuity readings off either of the tail lights in No.2 cab. We ended up removing one tail light completely as the lampholder was in poor condition, so I can obtain two new brass lampholders. The photo by Carl shows Sofy cleaning the cable trunking.
