In younger years when car maintenance was possible on your own driveway i did own the odd Haynes manual and very handy they were but this is totally unexpected

So all that effort by Andy and the team to obtain manuals and information and they could have gone down to Smiths or menzies and bought this

I somehow DOUBT that this will be realistic tool for restoring our little treasures but i will probably buy one

not been able to log on for several months but having a go at the committee seems to have worked and the site has finally allowed me back in

having read through this it is an interesting read with some technical information that has enhanced my knowledge of class 50's a little BUT not a particularly comprehensive manual and there is absolutely nothing in it that might help in learning how to maintain one of these magnificent beasts

there are some photos of work ongoing on our locomotives but most is about the class 50 alliance fleet. Worth a read but don't expect too much
